Here is the breakdown:
1st 12 sponsors of the team 2009 for $400 and up get a page of the calender.
1 sponsor $600 or up gets to be the title sponsor (logo on every month)
That totals: $6,400
If we don't get a title sponsor, it totals: $5,800
Now, the "ball park" photographer estimate from Eric at Essence photography is $1000. This includes 12 pages for months (6 onsite at the studio and 6 offsite) and maybe a team photo. Airbrushed and excellent.
He is going to speak with his graphic designer who he says does an excellent job about a price. His ball park is a geuss of $400. These aren't final, and we can have someone else do the layout. We want it print ready.
This "ball park" totals lets say $1,600.
This brings our net from $5,800 to: $4,200
An estimated print cost for 1000 12 page 8x11 calenders is $2000.
I am looking into Abbots in Yakima who was recomended highly for quality and price and also Printpelican.com (another photographer recomended).
That brings us to an estimated $2,200.
So, to get 1000 sweet ass calenders made up we are looking at a net of $2000. Double check my math. I rounded down. This is, as I said, a ballpark.
Eric is going to have the graphic artist give us a price, and make up a sample page using Buffy's picture. I need to get the logo file to him to do this as well.
When this is done, and a sponsor sale pitch page, then we can take it and our sponsor packets and hit up the T.C. We will only have a few weeks to get on it.
The photo shoots will be done in May.
Anyone who knows anyone who does hair and make-up, ask them if they can help us out. We can put their logo on the back page of the calender if they do.
Any ideas, let me know.

PostSubject: Team Calendars   Mon Apr 13, 2009 5:29 pm

I think a Team picture is a must because we are a Team that way people can see us as a whole as well as indiviuals. Btw great job and thanks for taking the time to look into the calendars schwanna it is much appriciated Smile Now the Hair thing ... we should ask Diggi if she would be up to it and also Scary k has a friend that loves to do hair and such maybe we can offer a shirt, free calendar or ticket to the bout or something like that for helpin us out in that aspect... dunno open to ideas just a brain fart. Though she LOVES derby but doesnt wanna skate. Ooooh yeah also if we were to through a logo of the buisness maybe we could see if Diggi would be willing..or we could... to talk to other hair stylest there as well at here work that would be willing to do our hair for that day then we could put the saloons logo with the stylists names. That would be cool also more advertisement for the saloon. Or if they arent interested we could go around and ask other Saloons and let them know how much we are charging outher buissnesses to put there logos on the calendar and how many other people would see there work it might be a good way for publiciting in that aspect. If Diggi and the saloon she works at isnt down for that Im willing to check around at different saloons I know someone that works at saloon Manroe. Okey doke There is some brain explosions for the day.... moment... lol. anyways let me know whay you think yall...
